If You Care About Climate Change, Then You Care About the Farm Bill

In all, wasted food generates around 270 million metric tons of greenhouse gases every year––roughly as much as the annual emissions from 58 million cars. The 2018 farm bill was the first to target food waste, and next year’s [2023] has the chance to expand on those efforts.

The Issue with Tissue

Shouldn’t we purchase paper products made from recycled paper rather than trees?

Pray

First, we pray!  This ministry is grounded in prayer and acts of worship.

We share resources which reflect the conviction that we are called to care for God’s creation and to follow God’s call for justice, mercy and compassion — as God defines them.

We feel called to integrate these themes into worship throughout the liturgical year:  Advent, Christmas, Lent, Eastertide and Ordinary Time as well as Earth Day and harvest.
